Music has been recognized for its therapeutic power for generations. The Sana Singers is a choir for singers who work (or are studying to work) in healthcare and for caregivers. Members of the Sana Singers share a desire to make music, build community, and experience the therapeutic benefits of singing with others. Sana Singers are welcome to register a family member or close friend to join with them.
The Sana Singers are led by Artistic Director & Conductor Paul Genyk-Berezowsky
•Professional choral section leads provide musical support for members
•Helpful resources for learning music are included
•The session also includes a Music Self-Care Workshop led by Music Therapist Lesley Bouza
Sing a variety of music selected with input from Sana Singers members and enjoy the gift of singing in harmony with others!
Pay What You Can / Sliding Scale Fees
Experience the whole session for as little as $50!
While the recommended fee is valued at $500 for the session, we believe that this financial commitment should not be a barrier for people interested in committing to receiving group musical instruction and its therapeutic benefits. We invite you to contribute an amount within your means.
We offer a reduced rate for students of $25 for the session.
Registration fees go towards the many expenses associated with providing therapeutic choir programming: paying our professional musicians/educators and guest presenters, renting rehearsal space, purchasing sheet music, and producing learning/practice resources.
